Venhälsan

Venhälsan is the only clinic in Stockholm with a focus on sexual health/​STI care for queer men/​men having sex with men. It’s also a clinic for people living with HIV from all walks of life. This review will focus on the clinic for sexual health screenings.
After having signed in, you see a nurse or a physician for an interview assessing your risks and needs as well as taking the samples. The clinic offers a rapid test for HIV that’ll give you the results within five minutes. Any other tests will take approximately a week and will be available either online (Mina vårdkontakter) or a phone call. They would however call you if anything come backs positive.
The clinic has repeatedly earned a gold star from the LGBT rights group RFSL for providing competent and sensitive care for men coming for tests and screenings.
