Für ein Museumsrestaurant ist das mehr als Durchschnitt. Schöner Blick, sauber und geräumig. Gutes Angebot zu vergleichsweise fairen Preisen. Und es schmeckt

The price-quality ratio is quite good, and the space fairly nice — large enough at least for the midday lunch crowd, and the view onto the waterfront is pretty. With a Volvo out one window and a Viking cruise ship out the other, you’ll never forget where you are! A delicious open-faced sandwich of ciabatta, butter, Brie, balsamic grilled eggplant and zucchini, fresh thyme, and lettuce was deelish but not quite enough to fill this tummy — so the ~95 kr. price doesn’t go as far as it does, say, at the Blå Porten. If you’re in the museum and want to break up the visit with a lunch or fika(cake-n-coffee hour), then this café is a good place: it’s conveniently located in the museum, so you won’t forfeit your entrance ticket by going in(as there is no external entrance to the café, only museum visitors with tickets can enter). But if you’re done with the museum and are heading into the great outdoors anyway, then hit up the Blå Porten just a five minute walk away.
