You really gotta love The Color Run. Even if you don’t like color(!!!) and even if you don’t like running. Even when you’re hungover and don’t feel like running(Uh…this is totally theoretical…), the atmosphere somehow gets you when you’re there. Everyone jumping up and down, waving their arms in the air in sync as they get totally pepped and ready to dash. The free Loka and other random little goodies. The tutus, the socks. Honestly, though, once(or twice) is enough. I’ve done it twice now, and the first time was a total blast. The second time was still surprisingly fun — and yet everyone in my group concluded that it wasn’t worth doing it again. Part of this is because of the price. Honestly it’s pretty expensive for a t-shirt and a bag of color powder. I mean last year the bag included a headband and some detergent at least — this year we didn’t get those freebies. If you’ve never done the Color Run, I would say it’s a 5-star event — go for it! But if you’ve done it before, it kind of drops to a 3. You don’t really need to do it again, at least not for that price. But hey, YOLO!
