A restaurant that is part of a chain of steakhouses, with a great location by the quay in the outskirt of the city. The restaurant is very popular and is usually quite full in the evenings. The space in the restaurant is quite limited which becomes very noticeable in the early evenings and the sound level quite loud. They serve different cuts of meat and also a real good texas no bean chili. The chili is my personal favorite and the one option for me when I get some take-away on those I’m-to-tired-to-even-think-nights… It usually comes with soft tortillas that aren’t GF free, but they swap these to tasty GF nachos on request and you get a BIG bag of them! Eating in the restaurant is ok, but I tend to avoid it if possible, but the take-away is a win!

This chain has a number of restaurants in Stockholm. All provide a decent menu with a variety of meat dishes that can be good. Quality seems to strongly depend on the chef and how many people order at the same time as I have gathered quite different experiences from«the was fantastic» to «not sure if I’ll be back». On average it is an ok experience and as they have a good selection of beers you can check in from time to time.

A restaurant with a nice view but little charm and personality. The US signs and plaques on the walls really feel like a tacked on Texas/diner image. Most Texas Longhorn restaurants are such obvious restaurant chain concepts, but this on depressingly so. Food is okay but by no means memorable. I had ribs and they were coated with a thick tar like layer of BBQ sauce that had all the flavor while the meat itself had none. It’s like they tried to mask the fact that the meat wasn’t properly marinated(and therefore lacked flavor) by dipping it all in too much sticky sauce.

Decent food, massive portions. Steak nachos and the pork nachos were exceptionally good. Ribs are cut up into bite size portions unlike how it is usually served in the USA. The sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking but otherwise cooked to the ideal tenderness
