Used to be home to the best flat white in Stockholm but has now been closed and reborn as Tasman café. Coffee is now ok but not great. Nice enough place with lunch and a limited assortment of pastries. Would not go out of my way but ok if you’re in the neighborhood I guess.

They are now guilty in the fact that I love avocado now — their sandwiches are very good! Can’t say anything about the coffee yet, but they serve very good white tea, which is a huge plus these days. When you come there, it is like visiting a friend. Feels like you know bartender for ages, he is very welcoming and smiling and helping and it is easy to stay for a chat with him. One day I was there, there were also a elderly couple, who came for a lunch. As I understood from their conversation, they come to Tasman nearly every day — for me it is definitely a sign of quality when old people keep coming to the same place over and over again, although the neighborhood is pretty packed with nices cafes.

Definitely a nice place in the area! Tasman has great salads, juices, local sourdough breads, coffee made with locally-sourced beans, and best of all, amazing service. The guy who runs this café makes you feel right at home. He even bakes brownies and banana bread himself! I’ve tried the brownies — they are good, and trust me, not many«brownies» in Sweden live up to my American standards. Environment is small and cozy. I will keep going out of my way to visit Tasman.
