Spy Bar

I had a great time at spy bar — however I got kicked out at 1, not sure why. I think these people are not be trusted because he held me really firm forced me out out the door. Super scary place — don’t go there!

Once the flagship among Swedish and Stockholms nightclubs with a larger crowd outside wanting to get in than inside the club. This was the place setting the nightclub scene and try to get into, and if you managed, your reward was to mingle with Swedish celebrities in the club.
Those were the days, but time has passed, and nowadays most of the clubs around Stureplan has catched up and past Spybars status, leaving it far behind.
There is no longer hard to get in, and the people inside is very odd. The venue itself is nothing special, and when you no longer can offer this club to a hand picked exceptional crowd, i guess the place lost its main competitive advantage.
Maybe it was just an empty coulisse from the beginning after all.

The worst bar in Stockholm, security is a bunch of guido clowns, they don’t acknowledge you, just sit there and jerk eachother off trying to figure out why everyone is leaving and not letting anyone in… If you don’t speak Swedish they won’t respond to you and basically a shithole in general. If you see the slicked back guido clown at the sort walk away because he’d rather suck you d… Instead of let you in. It really is a waste of your time, they say they have a guest list but never use it, just a reason to turn you away for a girl, most of which were horrendously ugly.

A great bar in the middle of all the action in Stockholm, the reality today is that cooler bars are now opening below and around the Spy Bar.
Great Cocktails, cool bar — worth a visit.
