Good food with a rustic flavor, got seated as soon as we arrived with out reservation. Service was kind of slow. But interior was nice inside.

They very well deserve their 4 stars. The food quality can be even up to 5 When dining with a vegetarian friend, I normally book indian or thai. My first few choices didn’t have space for the time we wanted and I ended up booking a table here and guess what? I’m very happy that I’ve done that! We tried 4 different main courses and two starters, beer, cocktail and yoghurt drink and the only complain was the portion size, big! The food was really tasty and fresh, well cooked and nicely placed and designed on the plate. Yoghurt drink was sweet which I didn’t specifically like, for me yoghurt drink is on salt side but this is a personal taste. The menu is looong, like most of other Indian restaurants, to make life hard for me :) But you will get a wide choice of anything you want. Personnel are also very polite and helpful. Why 4 and not 5 then? I booked a table via phone and it was Crystal clear that no table was booked for us. We got to wait, no one even asked for the name when I told them about booking which pissed me off. If there is a phone number to book a table, then it should work, otherwise just tell people that it is a drop in system. Ok! Enough with complaining! Place recommended? Definitely! Enjoy!

I went here with some friends for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. I remember having the Malai Kofta, but can’t seem to remember what my friends had. Neverless, theirs were delicious too. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere cozy.

Shanti Touch of Bengal is an Oriental bazaar serving delicately Bengali food. The menu has loads to offer — here is something for every Oriental advocate. The service could at times be quite shaky.

There are many choices for those looking at ethnic eats in Stockholm, but this one is one of the best values. You get a main and side dish plus soup and salad and drinks all for 80 – 95 kronor, which is less than $ 10. Some of the dishes are quite spicy — watch out for the chick pea salad! — but there are choices, and many people are looking to eat firecrackers, so here you go!

Nice atmosphere and great food. Big menu with a lot of choice of Indian food. Went here Friday evening and it’s pretty full but we managed to get a table for five without reservation. Service is however quite slow and they don’t pay a lot of attention. Food took a long time till it came too but it was worth the wait. I would definitely come here for afterwork again.

We stumbled upon this gem while visiting Stockholm. We were not familiar with Bengali food, but generally like ethnic dishes, so we decided to take a chance. The time tested indicator of quality — a dearth of empty tables — also suggested it would be a good choice. My wife had a chili chicken; I had a lamb and vegetable dish. They were both outstanding! Delicately and appropriately spiced, with generous portions. This is a tiny place, but don’t let that deceive you. It will be worth it.
