I traveled to Stockholm with friends and family and had a very good stay here. The staff were incredibly helpful. The included breakfast was great and if you leave early like we did(5am), they can prepare a Togo breakfast for the trip. My husband and I stayed in a business double which was an okay size for the week were there and one of our friends was in one of the uniquely themed apartments. It’s a good location for walking just about everywhere interesting and you can rent bikes if you’d prefer that.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel but don’t just book a room, not if you want to do it right. I stayed here back when it was the Wallin Hotel and in addition to all the normal rooms, they had a few studio apartments in a building that’s two blocks away called Norra Latin. Here’s the good part: They still have them. If you’re going to be in Stockholm for more than one or two days, book a studio at the Scandic Norra Bantorget. There’s a «kitchenette» which includes a small refrigerator and there’s a supermarket nearby. It’s like being in a small apartment and it’s fantastic. But know what you’re getting into. You can walk from the train station to the hotel if the weather is nice. Then you check in and walk the two blocks to your room. If you don’t know this is coming, you’ve been flying for hours, and you just want to go to your room, it’s a pain in the butt. But if you’re ready for it, it’s actually not a big deal. And if the weather is crappy and you don’t feel like walking to find the hotel, take a taxi from the train station. This was so much fun that I want to do it again.

I had a phenomenal stay at this hotel. The location is very central, rates are reasonable, the staff is very helpful, and the rooms are small but nice. They also have an outstanding continental breakfast and free bikes to check out for the day.
