Samborombon

Samborombon is a cute tiny restaurant that serves traditional Swedish food. It’s located in the heart of Gamla Stan.
When I visited I sat outside, I relaxed, and I watch the entire world go by.
My tomato soup and three types of herring were terrific. It wasn’t one type of herring. It wasn’t two types of herring. It was THREE types of herring. Ha, to be honest, I think the type of herring was all the same. However they just combined them with three different sauces. The herring was cold and I was surprised by how «fishy» it actually tasted. My tastebuds didn’t notice the «fishy» taste at first but by my 10^th bite it became really noticeable.
Service was a bit lacking but I think that’s because the girl waiting the tables was a little overwhelmed by the number of customers. It looked like the people on the inside received first priority and everyone on the outside got second priority. Unfortunately I sat on the outside.
Anyway the food was good and prices were OK.

Very nice food, great staff, lovely decoration and very good price for lunch menu!!! I highly recommended this restuarant to anyone who come to the old town and looking for a nice meal with a nice price!

Sorry, gutes Preis/​Leistungsverhältnis ist was anderes. Auch in Stockholm.

Ein sehr nettes kleines Altstadt-​Restaurant (ca 32 Plätze) mit argentinischem Einschlag. Der Service war sehr, sehr freundlich, das Essen sehr, sehr lecker und das alles zu einem für in Stockholm bisher noch nicht kennengelernten, angenehmen Preis/​Leistungsverhältnis.

Ein wahrer Geheimtipp! Hervorragendes Preis– und auch Leistungsverhältnis. Erlesene Weinkarte. Besonders zu empfehlen: die schwedische Spezialität Planksteak (Planka). Vom Massentourismus scheint das kleine schnuckelige Restaurant noch verschont, dafür gibt sich der Wirt alle Mühe, seine Gäste zufriedenzustellen; Wünsche werden beinah von den Augen abgelesen. Und ab und an spielt ein Bandoneon-​Spieler argentische Musik. Nur für Geniesser, welche gerne in ruhiger Athmosphäre verweilen möchten!
