We stopped in here to pick up some water and to further our ever expanding search for ‘tube food’. We found some which we thought our four legged friends back home would enjoy: Bacon Ost. It is cheese, flavored with bacon bits. I can assure you they love it. Anyhow, this store has a lovely cheese selection and bakery. If you’re anything like me you will suffer through agonizing temptation, resisting the growing urge to grab a block of cheese and loaf of bread and begin consuming it right there onsite. The Swedes seem to have taken all of this into consideration. They see no need to suffer, so they have table and chairs right there. Only a few paces away so one can be at peace with ones-self. The cheese specialist is there to guild you through your fulfilling journey. In all seriousness, if you do have any interest in trying some amazing cheeses this is a place that might be worth making a special trip. There are plenty of other items available that are unique to Stockholm/Sweden. So go in and have fun. Prices are fair and reasonable from what I can tell. What i would give to have these sorts of options back in Montana USA. But that’s why we travel.

They have some of the best assortment of vegetables and other products in Stockholm. They have a great organic section with fruits and vegetables. Meat is not as varied as there are some cuts I am looking for that are never available. The ready made food section is also quite extensive, with several different meat, fish, veggies, and carb dishes to choose from. The cheese area is some of the best I have seen in Stockholm. The baked goods are also fully stocked. However, like everyone mentioned, the prices are the highest in Stockholm as well. I compared a week’s grocery from Sabis with prices from Willys(a Hemköp member too) and ICA Nära Humle and I would have saved approximately 28% off if I did my shopping at Willys and 17% if I did it at ICA Nära. So now I only go there if I really need some special produce.

There is a large assortment of nearly everything. The prices are amongst the highest in Stockholm for a supermarket, and it can get really crowded here, but the overall freshness is good. What I like: The assortment of cheese and the salad bar What I dislike: The smell of fish that hits you and follows you around the store(the fish counter is placed in the center)
