Real nice service from the staff, nice view of a great party of Stockholm. Most important, the food was great. I can recommend the fried tuna on a ceasar salad. If you like seafood and fish the seafood and fish soup is great. The saffron mayonnaise is to die for.

As the restaurant is built entirely over the water on a pier, its name — Piren (which translates to «the pier» in Engilsh) is appropriate. It’s modern, straight-lined design creates a cozy interior enclosed by glass walls to enjoy the gorgeous views.
A bottle of red and some homemade rolls with cream cheese held us over until our entrées arrived — mine a grilled, rosemary & garlic-encrusted lamb filé with creamy carrot mash and truffle oil and NS a grilled entrecôte with bearnaise sauce and fries. Everything was pretty good, although not outstanding by a long shot.
And dessert of course: créme brulée with caramel apple sorbet and chocolate fondant with passionfruit ice cream. Quite a mix of flavors, but they worked well together.

Welcome to heaven…
With its awesome view and athmosphere on a sunny Stockholm day, you need no other place to be! People are relaxed and from staff to guests, everyone is friendly. Beaware that on a relatively nice day, even if you come in a Monday evening, it is full! So if you dont have any reservations, just get your cocktail and Njoy the view by the bar. Actually it is the best part! Great place to enjoy just a drink also… Or two. Altough I cant say the cocktails are Stockholm’s one of the best, it’s worth it anyways. Their wine and dishes are pretty good otherwise, plus comes in huge portions! So it is wise to ask for a half portion if you are not death hungry.
