We walked in, and asked if they accepted credit cards (they do!), and the cashier immediately offered to explain /translate the menu for us.
She guided us to the «Falafel salad /plate». It was deeeeelicious! There were ~10 components (tabouleh, halloumi, hummus, chick pea mixture, tomato mixture, babaganoush, grilled eggplant, roasted cauliflower, roasted sweet potatoes, falafel, pickled veggies, a side of lavash, and even more that I’m now blanking on)
Each component was excellently, from flavoring to preparation and presentation. The meal itself was huge (I didn’t even finish half).
Overall: The staff was friendly and great and the food was well deserving of its 5 stars. I’d go back all the time.

I have one thing to say, please Unilocal me cause my belly is completely foul (Pun intended). The food is authentic, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. I haven’t had Arabic food like this since I was stationed in Baghdad. A must for anybody visiting Stockholm.

Maxos is one of few Mekkas of Middle Eastern fast food in the city and offers a selection of to-die-for falafel, merguez, shawarma and hummus. Other than the early closing hours, Maxos does everything right.
