When you need new Copic markers, a portfolio folder och triangular rulers, Matton is the place to go. Especially if you’re a student: you get 20% discount! Not bad.
Matton offers a large selection of artist equipment, for professionals, amateurs and beginners. I would say it seems that they have it all, whether it comes to drawing, painting, building miniatures — you name it. Multiple types of paper, cardboard, sketchbooks, tutorial literature, glue, tape, artist tools, and the list goes on.
Staff lets you stroll around the shop in peace, but gives help if you need it. The service I have had has been ok, not too friendly but not too bad either. Prices are good, I would say. They often have items of different producers and brands, so you can find the price /​quality that fits your purpose the best.
Location is convenient, as there is a tunnelbana station very close (Rådmansgatan) for rainy days, but when weather is nice, you can enjoy the streets of Vasastan. Luntmarkargatan is a tiny street, on the right hand side from Sveavägen, if you come from the centrum.
