Sampling my way through the entire selection at Teatern and Marco Baudone’s rotisserie was a pleasant surprise. Knowing the he also runs no 53 in the Old Town made me hesitant to test it but here he actually delivers. The focus is on different types of rotisserie grilled meat (chicken, porchetta and beef) and being a sucker for good porchetta I had to try it.
Luckily I was not starving when ordering as the wait ended up being fairly long (15 minutes) and I was as some other reviewers a bit surprised at the lack of structure. A lot of people working but very little getting done and this was at a time when they had like three orders to manage.
The porchetta was however well worth the wait, nicely combined flavors and really filling. French fries were decent but will try the salad next time.
