Really nice cocktails in a nice backroom bar. We tested the place an early weekday evening and were the first ones there. We enjoyed the mixed beverages, nice music and all the pictures on the wall. A good place if you want some serious cocktails :)

A fun late night bar w proper cocktails. Service can be a bit up n down depending on the daily mood of the bartender. In my opinion this place was better back in the days…

After a frustrating and failed attempt to find Little Quarter one night, we made a second attempt and finally found it tucked away in Marie Laveau off Hornsgatan. Our original GPS had directed us to a street perpendicular to Hornsgatan and we didn’t find it immediately. We arrived at the right time and secured a corner seat in the booth(soon after, people were leaving since there wasn’t any room), with immediate attention on us by our awesome server. He took our orders and continually checked in with us. Cocktail prices are high around 155−160kr(in STHLM in general), so I opted for wine. The walls were peppered with photographs from all over — including Burning Man of all places — and of different eras at that. Loved the ambiance and felt like I was back home. People next to us were ordering fries and burgers which looked divine, but we had just eaten and couldn’t think of eating more. I’d certainly go back and walk through the Marie Laveau crowd confidently towards Little Quarter. This time, I’d order the burger and a cocktail.

Cocktails are for me a love story with equal share of passion, skill, knowledge and flare. And ah well, let’s not forget about the senses of taste, smell, touch and sight. When all these things in their each individual way works as a cohesive unit and amplifies each other, what are you left with? You guessed it, cocktails at Little Quarter. If you don’t know about this place, or even less so have heard of it, finding it is quite the ordeal. Walking into Marie Laveau’s the first thing you notice is apart from the buzzing crowd, a long and well-stocked bar with bartenders who know their stuff. However, don’t let this throw you off your game. The real place, hence Little Quarter, is nestled deeper into this establishment. So muster up your courage, walk right on by, into the dimly red-lit dinner area and into the small but cozy quarter of extraordinary cocktails. Here the bartenders are skilled mixologists with their particular mottor to create«our own perfect bar». And with nominations such as Bar Of The Year 2012 in White Guide and Cocktail bar of the year in Bartenders Choice Awards(among many others), there’s not a shadow of a doubt that this is the place to go if you’re up for high quality drinks to finish off a great night out on a perfect high.

Little Quarter is a small, laid back cocktail bar inside Marie Laveau in Sodermalm and the bartenders are serious mixologists! These hipsters take their craft very seriously. The cocktail menu is written on the board and they really do live up to the hype. I would rather hang out here all night than any other part of Marie Laveau. The drinks are pretty pricey(around $ 20 each) but more or less the same as other cocktail bars – after all, this is Stockholm.

This is the THE place to go for the cocktails(price for all 155kr, beer around 60−70kr, wine 70−80kr). The bar itself is a small room deep in the Marie Laveau, so do not get shy and stop at the first bar at the entrance of Marie Laveau, be courageous and go straight through the crowd — you’ll be rewarded with the great service and amazing cocktail experience! The bartenders are definitely skillful guys and the drinks taste super good! Probably the best cocktails I ever had! Everything is prepared in front of your eyes and portions are decent. Even if you are not into cocktails that day and just want some beer or wine, I would still advice to take a place at the bar, just to watch how these guys work.
