I stumbled upon this place while wandering around Old Town. So when we walked in, there was a guy in there that actually sewing stuff on his machine. There were all sorts of cute little bags of different sizes and pillow cases. They even had a little sale box that had stuff marked down 50% off. I loved how everything in the store had«Hilda Hilda Made in Sweden» sewed on the bottom too. Also, after reading the Unilocal info on this place, I didn’t realize that it closed at 4pm. We must have popped in at about 7ish. If I were somewhere in the States, I think I would have been promptly kicked out. The guy working the shop would also answer any questions we had on items even though he had to stop sewing to talk to us. Check this place out if you’re ever in Stockholm!

I was exploring the streets of Gamla Stan(Old Town) when I noticed this cute little shop and absolutely had to go inside. I was in need of a break from the endless souvenir shops in Gamla Stan! The shop was filled with charming and high quality fabric home items such as table mats, towels, and cushions. Swedish shopping can be expensive but I think items in this shop are priced fairly. I ended up getting a small, adorably patterned bag and had a nice chat with the kind shopkeeper. If you like supporting local environmentally friendly businesses make sure to stop by Hilda Hilda in Gamla Stan– or if you just need a break from the souvenir shop clones all along the touristy areas!
