The only grocery store in Marievik located right of the square in the newly built area. Pretty small but rooms all the necessities you need for a decent life. A lot of people go here at lunch for their very handy salad bar, where you can pick and choose whatever you want. Staff isnt overwhelmed by your appearance, but they do what it takes to get the job done. Pricing isnt bad and you probably wont be ruined end of month even if you go big here. They usually have some kind of deals to bring customers so you can do bargains if you are up for that. Overall its more or less a regular store which suits your needs and you dont have to walk around looking for use-by dates frenetically.

I have never been the biggest fan of Hemköp as it seems in every store they try and make the customer shopping experience as difficult and stressful as possible. Hemköp Sjövikshallen could be one of the most expensive Hemköps I have been to in Stockholm. Fairly ok selection, bit small and cramped but has a great location. It’s great to just ‘pop to the shop’ for some milk or beers, but you pay for the privilege. They have a pant machine(standard) and decent beer selection(I do have more than milk and beer in my diet) and overall, the staff are friendly and the store is clean but, overpriced and not a good place if you are claustrophobic.

This place has a pretty mediocre selection of groceries, and this is more a place where you buy the few items you forgot on your big grocery run. Prices are high, and the selection or organic stuff is almost non-existant. However, the staff is friendly and they are open to 10 pm. This is also the place where you pick up packages and stuff sent through the postal service that are too big to fit in your mailbox. I wouldn’t really go here if it wasn’t for the postal service, and because it’s closer than the alternatives.

Grocery store that is conveniently located for me and that is basically the only reason why I ever go here. Prices are often high(exception for promotions) especially on fruit and vegetables and one must always check the best before date as many things are old or just a day or so before the best before date. So not at all the place I would recommend but I do still out of laziness go here fairly frequently as it is also the place where one goes to pick up parcels send with the Swedish Post Service.
