Fondueboden

Warm and cozy restaurant with a lot of great food. The service is great with a lot of smiles and jokes. Being met at the door by a happy staff definitely lightens the mood. The fact that it is fondue makes it a great meal for people to share and interact.
If visiting Stockholm, then this is a definite place to eat.

Is a restaurant with rustic furnished interior and low light which gives a warm atmosphere perfect for cold winter evenings!
The meny is simply divided in three main dishes cheese, fish/​shellfish and meat fondue! The meat fondue or the La Grande Fondue as is called comes with chicken, steak, porkchops and veggies, this is served with an big selection of sauces including bbq, aoli, chilibearnaise, tzatsziki, wasabi etc. And you can either choose from baked potatoes or fries to your dinner!
The service is excellent and they usually ask you if this is your first time here! They will tell you how many minutes the diffrent meats require in the fondue for best result!
The food is very tasty and the thing alike the most with this restaurant is that you take your time eating, so you spend most of your time talking and having a good time, then stuffing yourself full! This may also be the reason why this place gets pretty loud in the evening, may also be because they serve wine and beer!
Fondueboden is the perfect place for you to bring your date and if your going here make sure you book a table in time, atleast a week in advance because it gets pretty crowded! And don’t miss the dessert fondue, melted toblerone chocolate with Cointreau and Congac served with fresh fruits, marshmallows, meringue and vanilla ice cream!

This is a really cosey place. I would say its perfect on a cold winter night. The fondue was great (we had the cheese one) and the waiter was very nice and fun. Definately will be going back often

As a food lover who has traveled the world, eaten some amazing dishes, worked in professional kitchens and even had a food blog, I can safely say Fondueboden is by far the worst experience I have EVER had, ANYWHERE. Finding hair in your food… okay, it happens. But being accused of placing one of my own in melted cheese and then being kicked out… SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE. I highly encourage you to avoid this little hellhole and its rude manager. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTE SHITE!
