After an afternoon of a lot of walking around by Stockholm’s Norr Mälarstrand, we were looking for a nice place to get some dinner. This place is a large houseboat docked by the Stockholm waterfront and not too far from the City Hall, where you could get some impressive views of the city and the harbour. We walked in, and got seated inside the boat, since the outdoor seating was pretty crowded during a sunny day. The interior is a little cramped, but a little cosy. I got a lamb entrée, and it was pretty tasty. Very juicy meat with some great green beans as garnish. I also sampled the herring entrée they had here, and it was also pretty good. Presentation is really impressive. Prices are little high, so you may have to pay at least 200SEK for an entrée. The service was kind of slow, so this is the type of place where you can just unwind a little after a really busy day and when the weather is nice. The outdoor bar is really popular, and it appears that a lot of locals like to come here for drinks after a long day of work. Overall, if you are looking for a decently good dinner in a nice nautical setting in a city like Stockholm, this place is a pretty good option. Don’t expect really fast service here.
