This restaurant has changed it’s name to Diwan. The interior is nice and gives a cosy feeling to the place, which has 22 seats inside and a few outside. I ordered a Lamm Sambal Masala, the waiter warned me that it would be strong, which I also expected since it had«sambal» in the name. The food was served surprisingly quickly(5 minutes) and nicely in several separate dishes. The so called saffron rice, was mostly normal white jasmine rice with a tiny bit of yellow rice sprinkled on top. Small enough amount not to feel the saffron taste if it at all was there. While the Lamm Sambal Masala was relatively tasty, it could nearly be considered mild and barely tickled my tongue and definitely wasn’t spicy. Half of the dish consisted of tomates, which weren’t even listed under the dish on the menu and the amount of lamb was disappointingly small considering the price. Diwan didn’t leave a lasting impression. I might come here some more time to see if their other dishes are better, but it definitely won’t get a place on my list of favorite restaurants.

I think this place has changed its name to indopersiskt kök. Regardless they serve mouthwatering Persian and Indian cuisine. Our lunch here was a very pleasant affair set in dining room that was decorated in a fashion that well above par given the price bracket. We had an aubergine paste and a chicken salad served with piping hot naan for starters. The mains consisted of a prawn curry on a bed of rice and a very fragrant grilled set lamb racks with preserved onion and an array of sauces. We were all very pleased with the food that was served by a very helpful and attentive waitress. We will surely return when we are in the neighborhood next time.
