They have THE best cardamom bun in Stockholm, it is also located in a very nice place, cheap prices. I wish(or do I?) it was located closer to me, but is definitely worth the walk there.

It never disappoints me except that you might find things are out of stock. It is said open hour is 9 o’clock but actually they open at 7 o’clock.

Came here after reading their Semla was the best in Stockholm so my expectations was therefore very high. Its a very small place and its almost just a counter with sweets in it, so it was hard to form a line inside the shop, because apparently others had heard the news also! I got there by lunch and was quite dissapointed when they announced they just sold out. They asked me to come back in an hour and grab some freshly made. Luckily i live pretty close so i returned an hour later and got them this time. And their newly baked Semla was truly good. Straight from the oven, not too big or too small, and just the right amount of almond, cream and taste of cardamom in the bread. Havent tried anything else there, but i bet everything is as good as the Semla and therefore, this place should be classified a very dangerous zone!

Stylish and modern bakery store, with the actual bakery visible trough large windows in the street. Friendly staff who will let you in even before regular hours if you’re an early bird. This is not a pastry shop but primarily a bakery: They have bread, buns and coffee cakes — all freshly made and a very nice craftsmanship. I bought a cinnamon bun once and almost couldn’t eat it because it looked so pretty! Not the regular swirl of dough, but an intricate weave of strings of dough — these bakers sure know you eat with your eyes as well as your mouth! I’ve bought bread here too — they have various types with or without nuts and berries. I’ve tried bread with walnuts and another loaf with cranberries — all incredibly juicy and tasty bread! What I’m missing is a wider selection of dark bread with more fibers, and maybe one or two of the most common coffee ales like apple doughnuts(«munk») or Danish.

The queue to the counter was the first promising sign that this is the place to get the sugar rush of the weekend. The cinnamon buns, buttercake and apricotmuffins are great & the semla is the best one I have ever had. The bun is rich in flavour, the cream fluffy & the almond paste has some chunks in it. Just the way I like my semla! The bakery delivers to around 20 cafees in Stockholm, Fotografiska among others. Its a bakery without any seats but it´s perfect to bring the fresh sweets to the dock two blocks away & enjoy your sunny Sunday afternoon!
