Central Hotel

I really liked this place a lot. First, the location could hardly be more convenient if it were physically inside T-​Centraalen. Its easy to get there to hop on the T, or to the central shopping street (Drottningatan). Its also a beautiful and not-​too-​far walk to Gamla Stan. Anyway, once you get inside the place, the interior is really nicely done. Its kind of trendy, but comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my check in process and any questions I had. The room I had was small (a single), but it was so well laid out that it didn’t feel claustrophobic to me. And the design inside the room was exactly what you expect of Sweden :) There was even a little mural of Gamla Stan painted on the wall next to the bed, which was cool. Finally, breakfast is included in the room and it was really good. There was a wide variety of foods and everything tasted fresh — and I mean, they let me eat Swedish meatballs for breakfast, so basically that’s a winner right there (also get the yogurt with walnuts!).
I can’t comment too much on the price because I used airline miles to book the stay, but from what I saw on other sites it seemed reasonable. So everything else was really great! I’d definitely stay here again if I returned to Stockholm. Highly recommend!
