Nice little lunch menu. And a fair sized menu otherwise considering how small this palce is. Breakfast as well. Cute little spot to match this slightly out of the way island. Very cozy indeed. Their Wifi worked fine and the guy at the counter was nice enough and spent quite a long time talking with some ladies that came in for their early evening coffee. One thing I *really* liked about this place was that the design of the main sitting room is a small square room with the main seating bordering the walls so that everyone in here will sort of be looking out at everyone else — unless you choose one of the stools on the inside of the square which of course you likely may do if you come to chat with a friend. Still I had this image in my head of people feeling very connected here. I’m also a sucker for places that are slightly but not completely below ground(they have a big window, lots of light, don’t freak out). The other thing that is nice about this place is the really cool hanging bird lights. I have intentionally NOT taken a picture of them so you can come see them for yourself. =o) It’s a nice little neighborhood café. Come check it out!
