Cozy place for a Swedish«fika» with coffee, tea, hot chocolate or cold beverages. The selection when we were there was a range of fantastic pastries, soup, sandwiches and waffles. We tried the waffle and lingonberries(super combo), a generous apple pie with large chunks of apples and vanilla sauce, and a sweet carrot cake. Everything was top notch! The surroundings are perfect for longer or shorter walks. They don’t have cappuccino or latte, but the regular coffee was good!

Cute café on Djurgarden in the lovely park of Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde(villa/museum). It says«kafeestuga och waffelbruk» on the old sign, and sure enough there is a little window where you can order waffles. Ektorpet is a little garden café with a kiosk and some little tables on the lawn and under some trees. It is a little on the expensive side, but you can get coffee refills and-I love this about Sweden– they don’t make you *buy* water, but put little tables filled with glasses by a tap for self-service instead.
