Who doesn’t want a bakery around the corner from where they live? Now Brot is perhaps not a bakery as such as there is no bread made here but they so deliver it from one of their locations in the center. This is perhaps not as good as having it made here but still better than the grocery stores and their bread.
While I am not a big consumer of bread it is nice to have this option in the area. In addition to a decent selection of bread they also sell pastries, cakes and cookies. I am also not a huge consumer of that stuff but the selection is pretty good and while the prices may be a bit inflated it is still good to have this option.
They do have mini pastries which is a nice way to just have a small bite and/or try multiple ones. They do also serve some simple café style dishes and at least during part of the year soup. There are a few seats inside and in the warmer part of the year some tables outside.

Finally came to Brot after living here for 6 months, and must say I am pretty impressed.
The buns looked a little dry in the shop but didn’t taste dry and were great. I took the kardemummabullar (always a good choice) and was perfectly seasoned. Not too much and the dough was just right.
However, my girlfriend did find a hair in here cinnamon bun (not cool).
They also serve mini buns as well as classic cakes and such.
Overall, a good place tucked away in Lilleholmen, and well worth a visit.
