I had to write about this little café for having two things I have never seen in Stockholm before and one of them in my life! The place itself is somewhere between a lunch spot and a café — not nearly cozy enough to be a café you would like to call your home but not quite boring enough to be just a lunch spot(thanks for their window bench seats, I suppose). I only had a bottle of coke when I stopped by for a fika so I really can’t comment on much food wise but they had a ton of different options for creating some sort of ultra healthy lunch consisting of greens and other assorted veggies. Well here is the moment you have been waiting for on their creativity: 1. They wrapped a napkin around my coke bottle and twisted the ends together to create what I can only describe as a small lady. 2. They have the US equivalent of a «Give a penny, take a penny» tray — for when you are just a couple cents short or you get some extra change you are too lazy to put in your pocket. Except there was like 150kr in this tray, including a 20! Man people are rich in Stockholm… Still, I think it’s awesome to see this idea of helping out other people and clearly Swedes are excited to give away all their change to this magical tray. My instinct tells me that no Swede will feel comfortable actually TAKING money from the tray — so we immigrants should unite, bring half the price of whatever you want in change, and enjoy the subsidized coffee. Just kidding, don’t do that. Good ideas and creativity are worth stars and a visit!

A nice little café right on Fleminggatan where you can have a coffee or a lunch. The name doesnt say anything about what they offer, except for the blueberry must that is complementary to the food. They have sandwiches, salads and pastries in great portions. If you have a sandwich you will also get a salad on the side, so its plenty of food for the hungry one. Pricing is fair and its they have quite a lot of seats. Go here to have a snack or a lunch, i bet you will be up for a happy surprise.
