First and foremost it’s a cool place. Top of the line bikes and service. The food was definitely great. It was fresh and tasty and the service was very nice. Will definitely go back to this place. Especially with that’s to come. The espresso I had after lunch was honestly the best espresso I’ve ever had. Just the coffee is enough to go back. Will definitely go for fika soon!

On my first morning in Stockholm, I was about to rent a bike from the Visitor Centre but had arrived too early. Time for a coffee first then, so after consulting the Lonely Planet, I steered my way to Bianchi Café & Cycles, which seemed appropriate. It’s in Norrmalm, about five minutes wandering from the main hub and very easily found. It wasn’t quite the setting for an al fresco cappuccino, with a busy road and only a couple of tables on the pavement, so I nipped inside to order a coffee and a chocolate croissant. The coffee was expertly produced with the requisite froth design, which went down a treat with the croissant. The place was quiet(it was just before 8am), so it was a pleasant stop, while I prepared for a morning’s jaunt around Djurgarden. The coffee and croissant cost 52Kr or about £4. Pretty acceptable.

I come here for the lunch buffet. It feels luxurious and good value despite the price(139SEK). Its easy to eat healthy, and by LCHF if you want to. There is cooked salmon, cold cuts and various salads to choose from. So far so good. But the place is crowded and I for one unfortunately get a bit bothered by the activity in the auxiliary bicycle shop. Go here before noon, after 12:30 the place is hopeless.
