Decent, cheap place to stay in Stockholm. I stayed in a 14-bed mixed dorm which can be cramped if you’ve never stayed at a hostel. Since I’m used to sleeping in cramped quarters and just wanted a cheap place to stay, Best Hostel City fit the bill. Here’s the rundown: PROS * Cheap! I paid 141SEK per night for 14-bed dorm. If you need more space, I would suggest paying more for less beds in the room. * Great location, within walking distance to Stockholm Central station, Gamla Stan, and other attractions/sites. * Free coffee, tea, dried pasta provided * Free breakfast(although woke up too late to get it) * Linen included! * Answered emails promptly. I got my confirmation soon after I booked the hostel online. I needed to modify my reservation and notify that I might be arriving after reception hours and got a timely response to my emails. CONS * Limited reception hours, closed 17:00. But if you notify that you’ll be arriving after 5pm, they’ll leave your key in a security box for pick-up. * Many groups staying here. Not a bad thing, necessarily. But they can be loud, and not really good if you’re wanting to meet new people. Don’t forget to bring your own towel and padlock!
