Was pretty disappointed today. Went here as it’s got character and the ‘light bites’ appealed. I had soup which was lacking stock and i had to ask numerous times for a roll and never got the butter I asked for 3 times. I eventually ate my dry roll as my soup was getting cold. My husband had the full English breakfast which came without the sausage and it took two reminders to bring his toast. He had to fetch his own cutlery eventually. Service was shocking as we sat for 15mins with no server in sight. Reluctantly paid but no apologies were given for the tardiness. Another customer sent her food back as it was cold. We love York to bits and usually go to Concerto as it’s awesome but it was full. We regret not waiting =(

Went with my Gran and Sister the other week, Nice layout and interior we got a couple of tea’s with some jam & cream scones which were very nice! My Gran went back again with her partner yesterday for some lunch which she said she thoughaly enjoyed and said she would be taking me and my sister there for lunch next time we go into town with her!
