As pubs go, the Roman Bath is ok — staff can be a bit slow, and because of its location it’s often filled with tourists who want to ask a dozen questions about beer. However, for a couple of quid you can go downstairs and see the remains of the Roman bath house. There really isn’t much left, but it’s amazing to see something that’s been in place for hundreds of years.
