Lovely little courtyard, attentive service and high quality low cost food. I had the duck special, it came sans mushrooms but was still delicious. My date had the ciabatta chicken sandwhich which was nice too.

A cosy little bar in the heart of York’s drinking hub, divided into several areas so it feels a bit more intimate than some places. We had it booked for a private function and were treated well. The range of beer was a little small and prices were not fantastic, and the way the bar was arranged meant a lot of awkward queueing, but mainly very nice.
