I love silverado its one of my favourite shops in York. Its a lovely little old shop on the shambles and they sell silver jewellery. Some of is quite expensive but I always used to buy rings from there for only about £5-£10 and they were gorgeous. The shop is quite small and cramped but its lovely!

A cute little jewellery shop on the Shambles, silverado, unsurprisingly by the name, sells silver jewellery at reasonable prices. They sell a lovely range of fun, unusual stud earings at no more than £3 per pair; I have a set of dragonflies and a set of turtles from there. They also sell more expensive silver jewellery, which is very nice and have a range of Celtic-​style rings.
I don’t know about the more expensive jewellery but you have to buy gift boxes separately for the stud earrings and the rings, at £1 per gift box. It’s not a bad thing though because it means you’re not paying for a gift box when you’re treating yourself and don’t need one. The staff are very pleasant.
