Overall not a good experience and not much to say
Not a very atmospheric place very wild so my one of two experiences here wasn’t very good so as I was ordering I obviously reminded them I was a Unilocal reviewer which shocked them a little but nonetheless I asked for free food and reminded them that if they didn’t give me free food I would give them a bad review on Unilocal so they decided to go with it so I sat at my table with friends and the food took unusually long but we got it in the end and well it was not very good but the worst thing was the hygiene because I found as to my belief was a booger which is just unacceptable and they had sent told me my lasagna came with a Wight gooie sauce I couldn’t quite catch what the flavour was but it wasn’t very good I called that dinner the Unilocalers special because it has not happened to me before but the reason I’m giving them a three star is because after they served the food they were very nice but the food ruined it sorry

Well you get what you pay for if you are lucky, the food isn’t bad, it’s warm and usually arrives at a reasonable pace. This restaurant can have slow service if they get a party in though.

Great Breakfast! Great Service! Great Coffee! Great Price! Me and husband only go to this before 12noon for the Breakfast deal. It is ok, not very expensive but it is a breakfast worth the price for. If you can make it, go and try and you will know what I mean.

We have been using F & B in various locations for about 10 years now. Not great food, but usually hot, quick service, great atmosphere, and handy for cinema, or whatever. We tried this branch in York last week and were VERY disappointed. It was almost empty, yet it was still hard to get served — staff would rather chat to each other! Drinks sat on the bar for over 5 minutes after dispense until i went to get them myself. Food took 35 minutes and only 2 other tables in, and they managed to two items wrongly. It was hot, but not very tasty.
Obviously the F&B area manager doesn’t eat here!

No stars if I had my way but apparently you have to allocate at least one. Very unappetising menu. Lasagne contained beef according to the menu but I couldn’t find any. My wife said her pizza was just ok, but it looked like cardboard to me. Won’t be coming back.

We love Frankie and Bennys! We first went for an anniversary meal before spending a child-​free night at the pictures — the meals was fantastic, price very reasonable, the service impecible without being pushy and I was tickled pink to hear the learning italian cd’s played in the toilets! (I’m very easily pleased!).
Our second visit was with our son and we were very pleased at how child-​friend both the menu and the surroundings were.
Whether you are going to the cinema or just fancy good quality reasonable food, its well worth a visit, be it on your own, as a couple, with friends or with family!

This is very well located if you want to go to the cinema and a meal and the Vue cinema is just next door. Most of the time you only have to wait a little while to get a table but it can get busy. The food is very good, especially the bbq chicken pizze. The price does seem to be a little too high for my liking though and the desserts dont always match up with their description in the menu.

A pleasant chain restaurant which churns out nicely presented, but all too often, bland food. The larger size pizzas are nice but I have found the pasta, sandwiches just lacking in taste. The grilled meats also appear to be the cheapest cuts possible. Nice décor and surrounds and friendly staff. I would always come here before the cinema next door but I would only go for the pizza

Awesome! I love Frankie and Benny’s, the burgers are sooooo unbelieveably good I wish I could eat them every day!
Every Frankie and Bennys pretty much looks the same with the old Italian American thing going on so you always know what to expect.
Its great for parties and there always seems to be a birthday or something going on when I go in. Its not the place to go if you want a romantic meal or some quiet time but as long as your not looking for that you will love it!

great place for popping in before going to the vue cinema next door!
menu never seems to change, and its one of them fast food with waiter/​ess service. foods good, portions are ok
the lunch menu is good value
but they do the best san francisco cocktails! certain cocktails are also availible in pitchers, but way to much ice for them to be value for money! they have a nice choice of wines, great for birthday parties as they do the whole, stop the restaurant and sing to the birthday person thing!
toilets are always clean, have toilet paper, and little dispensers where you can buy chewable teeth brushes and play how to speak italian cd, so far i’ve learnt to say uno grande?
its a fun place to go, nothing special about the food, but the atmosphere is always buzzing, bar area gets busy. never had a bad meal or service! no matter how busy or quiet they’ve been
