Excellent and legitimate Texmex in York! Friendly helpful staff — blazing hot sauce — I highly recommend the Mexican Sampler of 3 enchiladas beans and rice. Great portion size and authentic flavor throughout. Go before 6pm and get 25% off the whole bill!
I would have given it 5 stars but for a few family unfriendly placards on the wall — but why throw out a Rolls Royce for a little scratch?!
I recommend Fiesta Latino for Mexican food in the York area: good food better price! I’ll be back for sure

We went Friday night it looks like it could be popular with students, we’re in our late 40s but loved it wood floors and small tables made it cosy. Meat and vegetarian a like are catered for, if cocktails are your thing you won’t be disappointed. We will go back again.

As a lover of Mexican food it is always a struggle to find good Mexican in the UK until now.
We went on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy, I would suggest booking in advance to be certain of getting in.
Also they have 25% off the bill between 4pm and 6pm everyday and watch for Tuesday and Sunday as this is student night where they get 50% off.
It has a Mexican themed interior with a lively atmosphere spread over two levels.
We ordered the Nachos Cowabunga sharer to start, Nachos fully loaded with chilli beef, chilli chicken, cheese, bacon bits, scallions and soured cream, it was huge, could easily do 4 people.
For mains we had –Beef Buritto which came with guacamole, cream, black beans and rice and the Mexi Burger, which was a 9oz burger covered in beef chilli served with curly fries salad and cowslaw. Both were very large portions and we struggled to finish them
