I love bread and maybe my experience is colored by hunger and having just been thrown out of «Corner Cupboard» by the condescending owner who did not care to provide vegans a salad without animal products on it but… The staff at Dough are incredibly friendly and nice — and the breads are incredible. The young lady who was at the counter the first time I went into the shop was very helpful in pointing out items without cheese(or egg) and I bought foccaccia and a nice loaf of bread. My mom and I ate the foccaccia — slightly crispy on the outside, chewy but still tender and fluffy, seasoned well with olive oil and salt, giant seedless olives and sun dried tomatoes stuck in it — just as good as foccaccia I have had in Italy — well, we had to turn back and in the 30 minutes we were away, they sold out of all but two foccaccia that had cheese. The friendly young man who joined the lady I met earlier was very sympathetic and even offered that I could call in an order because they would make extra for me if I wanted to pick up after the next bake. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience — the breads are delicious and the service excellent.
