This has to be the best Indian takeaway in York! We should know we have tried a few ;o)
really delicious dishes full of flavour. very fresh ingredients and a really delicious Naan bread. We can recommend the Garlic Chilli Chicken Balti if you fancy something a little hotter?! This place we recommend to anyone that lives in York! the ONLY downside is that their Madras is quite watery

The prices are low, and there is probably a reason– perfectly acceptable takeaway Indian, but there are much better options in York! The food colours seem too bright and the flavours are weak. The restaurant is located near the University and offers a student discount, which makes the food even cheaper. My best friend used to rave about this until he tried Tandoori Nights across town and immediately admitted he was wrong (which is not a usual event!). Good for a drunken takeaway but not for a really stellar meal!
