HAD TO GIVE ONE STAR AS NO OPTION TO GIVE NONE. I have to agree with cah197 and the MSG. I have eaten at REAL CHINA YEOVIL twice and both times having never over eaten (food not that god to over eat), I have left feeling very very bloated and stomach pains (and the rest!) on both occasions. Since those visits I have found out I am allergic to MSG need I say more? but I will: food cold, bland tasting, plates cold and not exactly hygienic looking, mass produced so goodness only knows the quality of it. Only time we were approached by Staff was when they kept pestering for drinks orders, which was rather unpleasant as we felt we should pay for more drinks as the food was so cheap that is in value and quality. I’m afraid I expect more when eating out.

A truly great place to go, as long as you do not have too high expectations.
A good location, polite and friendly staff, and all you can eat for a very reasonable price.
Whilst the food may not be 5 star standard, for the price that you pay the variety is very good, and reasonably tasty.

Okay, so it’s an all you can eat buffet, which in itself I don’t really expect too much other than I would prefer the food to be at least hot and tasty! If however, you prefer your food to be cold and completely tasteless ie one dish pretty much tastes the same as the next dish and abrupt, unfriendly service then I fully recommend The Real China in Yeovil! It’s appalling!

I entered the restaurant and immediately felt that it resembled a trough surrounded by greedy pigs practically inhaling piles of cold tasteless slops… I was filled with a feeling of nausea. The omlette was good though!

Whow! what value £5.95 Lunch Mon to Thurs. All you can eat. Great staff clean tables good selection.

OK, I know it says ‘All you can eat’ on the door, but nothing’s free in America (a friend told me).
It’s £10 for lunch and £13 for dinner, unfortunately quality suffers.
I’m convinced that diners these days don’t go out to get fed, they go for an experience. This place is all about quantity, not quality. Some of the buffet on offer is fine, but many of the dishes are quite devoid of flavour and soaked in MSG.
On balance, I’d avoid this place. If it was £5 all you can eat like Mr Woos in Leicester Square, fine. But it’s not.
