£12.95 for a panini, a club sandwich, a grande cappuccino and a grande chai, hmmm. Also this week, I was overcharged by £3.00, however, when this was pointed out, it was resolved very quickly and without fuss, so thats a positive. There are places to sit outside, mainly for the smokers, but saturday’s are so busy that sometimes thats the only place to go. Just ignore the haranguing from the louts.

Now that they’ve worked the kinks out, you can get a reliable cup of cappuccino here. I like my coffee to be predictable — the same every time I order it, and this is what you get here. The cakes are good and usually too big to finish. The sandwiches are the standard, pre-​made Starbucks fare — good if you’re in a hurry. There is plenty of seating and a few oversized comfortable chairs inside, and there is also outside seating. The service is fast and friendly. The tables are cleared and wiped down regularly, so there isn’t the accumulation of other people’s rubbish that tends to be a problem at some coffee shops.
