Brilliant day out for kids. Very helpful staff.
A cheap day out as admission is free, and if you are really interested staff will do a free tour. You will find that it is actually quite interesting visiting the sit of a mine even if you are not normally particularly interested in that kind of stuff.
There are special events here for kids throughout the season. There are also many nice walks around the area.
They have a little shop with sweets, gifts and drinks. Popular with the kids and nice if you want a typically welsh souveneir.
