Guildbourne Meats

My son put me onto these some time ago. I had reviewed them previously but had mstakenly placed it on another store in the same Centre.
An excellent butcher offering high quality stock at extremely competitive prices. Trays of varied meats go out at £10 or 3 for £25.1 Pretty good in todays economic climate. Very high standards of high and the staff are quite a cheery bunch!

The Guildborne centre is centrally located but has always struggled to get punters through their doors. Considered a white elephant there are proposals to replace it with a large state of the art mall complex. A poorly designed building, it is dark and uninviting and has a disused area upstairs that I’ve never seen. Wilkinsons set up business in the center and there was an attempt to spruce it up a bit and get more light into the building. It does have a few useful shops, Easy Weigh, a cut price food store, a very popular butchers and the long standing Dollywood. It also houses Worthing’s only radio station and a large multi-​storey car park alongside. It does seem rather shabby and a bit of a waste of prime real estate.
