Quite expensive but very nice pub with exceptional waiter service. Quite the setting for smart clothing, would definitely feel out of place in your trackie bottoms!

A very pleasant restaurant with a great layout. There’s lots of corners, nooks & crannies, corners to snuggle into. Makes it feel smaller than it actually is.
I went for Sunday dinner, so as well as the regular menu there was also a selection of Sunday roasts as well as a few specials.
I decided to go for the Roast Turkey Sunday dinner and was not disappointed. Not only was it beautifully cooked but it was also exquisitely presented. The Turkey came with a selection of vegetables including Roast Parsnips, Roast potatoes and carrots. There was also stuffing and a pig in blanket.
We were offered a selection of sauces including a choice of mustards.
The dessert menu looked quite extensive though I was too full after my roast dinner to pay it my full attention!
Service was attentive without being intrusive. I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place! It’s all about the atmosphere… pure country pub vibe. Shabby chic, roaring fire on cold winters days, what more do you want. Very relaxed, very good pub food and a good selection of Ales although I do think they could offer even more choice here.
Overall though, Stuart and team do a cracking job and I’m happy to call it my local!
