The Viking Afloat boat that we went on was very clean and well equipped. Due to the floods we had to follow the route to Birmingham which means that we went through the Tardebigge flight. Over a period of a week we worked over 100 locks, some of which were very hard work. However it did not spoil our fun! Boating is an amazing holiday — very relaxing.
