My mother-in-law has moved to Worcester and so I’ve now discovered the wonders of St Peters Garden Centre. I loved this place. We went for a carvery and ended up staying three hours! The carvery was great, really nice food(apart from the broccoli, broccoli is evil) and despite a queue we got our food quickly and there were plenty of seats. It’s child friendly and has a little play area for them to keep them entertained, good if you’re just going for a coffee and a(massive) piece of cake. The garden centre is more centre than garden but that was fine with me. There was a great range of products from clothes to food to gifts. The best bit was the price, compared to other garden centres I have been in the prices were reasonable, actual value for money. There were quality items, unusual gifts and generally ace for Christmas shopping. Outside there was rides for the kids — mini tea cups, trampolines and merry go round type thing(quite lamely labelled Santas Sleigh Ride but I’ll let them off for that). The kids loved it and sucked many a pound coin out of me and Grandma while we drank tea and ate mince pies. The Christmas section was particularly good with a wide range, some great offers and a moving polar bear that my two year old took a particular liking too. Check this place out, it’s as good as garden centres get.

This is a good garden centre with decent café and friendly staff, not bad for a plant or two either

I think this is a lovely little garden centre. They sell a variety of plants and indoor plants, bulbs, seeds, etc. The staff, I found, were very helpful and polite. They did have a pet section, not sure if that is still there, but I had a guineapig from there who was also very lovely! It is a nice place to have a look round on a sunday afternoon if you fancy getting out the house for a bit.

This garden centre is more than just plants and gardening. There is a small café that service good value food. The seasonal areas are always worth a visit, Christmas is always exciting here. The outdoor plant section is always well maintained and there is always someone around to give advice or help you get your purchases into your car. The homemade ice cream is also to be tasted. A great place to spend a pleasant few hours.
