I wish I could give this place ZERO stars, as that’s what I think it deserves. I recently went here to help my friend choose a new car. She had narrowed the field down to 6 or 7 cars, and was just going round to have a quick look at the cars and see what kind of deals she could get against her own car, a perfectly decent car, less than 3 years old.
Firstly, the salesperson was more interested in selling a lease agreement than a car, and when it was finally got through to them that this was not an option, my friend was TOLD that she didn’t want the car she had come to see. We said that this WAS the car she was interested in, but seemingly to no avail.
Next, my friend was told that she must take the salesperson for a test drive in her own car, and this before she had even seen a Volkswagon, which she reluctantly did. After this a car was brought round for us to see, needless to say, this was the one the salesperson had recomended and not the one my friend really wanted to see. The car was fine.
Finally we returned to the sales office to get the quote we had come for, and were refused point blank to be given a price to change. When we said that if we did not get a price, that the Volkswagon would be out of the running, we were told that when she was ready to take a test drive in the new car a deal would be worked out. This may be their company policy, but it lost them a loyal customer and a potential sale.
My friend bought a Japanese car in the end, and loves it.
