Debenhams

This is a lovely size store, not too big and not too small. it is easy to find what you are looking for exactly and if not the staff are happy to help. They are happy to take returns and give refunds, if you change yourmind about a purchase. The store is well stocked for women, men and children’s fashion, it has the designer clothes aswell. There is also a lovely café on the top floor that do very nice cakes!

Desperate to compete now with the new and refreshing M and S, it looks tired and boring in comparison. I don’t like the fact that everything seems crammed in on the main floor and the great hike up to children’s wear.
the lift’s take a nightmare length of time. You can’t beat the quality of the goods though i love the designers wear sections. the offers they have are great and real incentives.

This Debenhams is crying out for a refit, especially as it’s major rival in the city has done just that recently, and Debenhams is showing it’s age. The café serves some very good food but is hidden away on the top floor in the corner, and you are unlikely to stumble across it while browsing. Shame really. Outside the front, the store has a very large, flat canopy which serves to keep the rain off when meeting someone, and consequently it is one of the most popular meeting venues in Worcester. I hope Debenhams do spend some money here as it has been a fixture in Worcester since I can remember.

Not the biggest Debenhams store but still ok for the basics. It suffers from not having a homewares section although they will try and order things in for you. The clothing sections are adequate but are limited with the ranges and designers that they offer. The cosmetics section is very small and again offers a limited choice. Good for bits and normally great for sales but on the whole I would travel to a larger branch most of the time.
