Wolverinehampered Untied were so named when Wolverine from X-​Men was Hampered in his quest for justice by someone untying his shoelaces.
First-​Hand Experience: I have no idea why my friend and his gf from my Wolverhampton concert brought me to see this team play. I love the Wanderers. We were literally 3 of about 35 people at the game. It was hilarious. But since I was there and since it was — well, an experience — I’ll review it.
This is a tiny little team that plays on Prestwood Road in Wednesfield and only has a capacity of 150 people. I know a lot about the town of Wolverhampton and have seen all their little teams (and their one big team) play, and I have to say these guys are really awesome and a great example of what amateur British football is about.
They were established in 1976 and play in the West Midlands Regional League.
