The compton hospice furniture shop is always worth a mooch round when your in town. Some of the furniture can be a bit overpriced but compton hospice is a good cause and there are always a few bargains to be had if you look around. As a student starting out with nothing we got some great shelves and coffee table that we wouldnt have been able to afford otherwise They will deliver your purchases for a small fee and the ladies the work in the shop are always chatty and friendly. They also have a small bric and brac and book section where you can often find some funky vintage items
