Have lived in Knaphill for over 20yrs And the Surrey was a No Go Pub! But recently found out is now a Flaming Grill Pub, and the food and service are excellent. We eat a lot locally and this is by far the best food you can get for miles. Four of us have voted this as the best. Good prices and beautifully cooked to perfection. Forget the Old Surrey and try it now, You won’t regret it, and no I don’t work for them! :)… When reading past reviews. Look at the date!

I have only been once and will never return. the service was rude and offhand and children were running around uncontrollably, When i ordered my food my first 2 choices I was advise abruptly it is off. once it arrived the food was sub standard. I suppose the only saving grace was it was cheap. Sky television was also at full blast.

prices of drinks r disgusting, took my fiancé and kid there bought a fosters £2.25 orange juice and lemonade £2.80! more than a pint? found this strange so questioned it, found the manager arrogant n he said he likes to price his drinks high wouldnt recommend to anyone stay away plenty more pleasent pubs nearby

I’ve been here three of four times, each time swearing I’d never return.
This is a Homespread pub which seems to rely on churning out poor quality meals to OAPs and familys in the day and early evening and then turns the pub over to regulars with sports coverage later on.
Food is poor and orders often muddled. Service is slow.
There’s a good children’s playground outside with a few tables but this fronts onto the road so it’s not the most pleasant place to sit. There used to be a soft play but this has now gone (thankfully as it means fewer brats running wild in the pub).
The best bit is the mix-​n-​match children’s menu!
Ample car parking.
