I’ve never eaten in the restaurant and only used their delivery service and they’re incredibly friendly and have good time-keeping. Nice bunch. I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food from all regions and their Seabass is delicious. Regarding some of the more popular dishes like Pad Thai or traditional Thai Curry they could improve the quality; the flavours are almost there, but not as clean or fresh tasting as one expects from Thai restaurant standard food, the end result of the popular dishes looks and tastes a little mass-produced so the quality of cooking is below the standard I am accustomed to. Many might disagree, but I am still a fan! I hope they take comments on board or, perhaps reduce their prices a little bit in line with expectations of restaurant standard fare.

Been here a couple times and haven’t been disappointed yet! They serve you real prawn crackers, not the plastic like white ones! The first time we went we did one of the set menus, way too much delicious food. Since then we order a main each and share a starter if super hungry.

Everyone tells me that this Thai place is one of the best places to eat in Woking, but honestly, I didn’t think much of it. Honestly, there are sooo many amazing Thai places around London and the UK that this one seriously fails all expectation of good and authentic Thai food. I had the Nua Gra Prow, which is advertised a spicy diced beef dish and it wasn’t even diced beef, but sliced. This dish is supposed to be minced! Anyway, the flavour was pretty westernized and kinda tasted like a sweet and sour dish with a bit of thai flavour… I was not impressed. The price wasn’t great either. £8.40 just for the dish, an then more for rice. for £15, I was neither full nor satisfied. The food was edible, just not great. Tip: They are closed every Monday.

We were delighted with our meal at the Sang Thai restaurant in Woking last night– probably the best Thai restaurant we’ve been to. It lived up to all the excellent reviews, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, service charming and efficent, and ambience superb– a real oasis in rowdy Woking. We loved the fish tank! It deserves to be in a better location, really– we dodged all the drunken noisy teenagers to get there from the theatre, but were very pleased we made the effort.

I’ve been living in Woking and had no idea that this restaurant even existed. Saw the review on Qype and despite the rave review my expectations weren’t all that high. How wrong I was! An absolutely delightful restaurant. Tasteful décor, impeccable service and really wonderful food. Far, far better than the many Thai restaurants I’ve been to in London. If you live in Woking you really have to go.

Where to begin? First I should say that Thai is my favourite type of food. So while I may be biased, that also means that I have tasted my fair share of Thai food, all over the world. Let me tell you, I did not expect to find the best example I’ve ever had in Woking alongside the train tracks. Once inside, the atmosphere is dreamy, the room dominated by a beautiful large aquarium, which lights the room softly. I sampled my usual favourites to find a baseline, and, with the help of our warm and friendly waitress, tried a couple of new dishes. It was one of those meals where no one wanted to/could talk, so delicious was the food. I highly recommend the mixed starters, as each brought a host of new and delicate flavours. My husband, who usually quietly goes along with my Thai food indulgences, was even brought to gutteral mutterings about the food in front of us. Oh. And they deliver. BLISS
