OK, it is a Pizza Express — for better and for worst. You know if will be good, but probably not fantastic, and will be slightly high. My trip was nothing different. Started with the Insalata Semplice, which was good, wHen «hand torn ciabatta» is promised, is it to much to ask for it to not be torn sandwich bread? Just asking. The Calabrese pizza was as hot as threatened — and I loved it. Good solid meal, only marred by indifferent service. Hopefully you’ll draw a batter server.

Pizza Express is a fairly good chain, and Woking’s branch is no exception.
The service is good quality and the staff are polite and efficient, catering to requests or alterations to your order successfully.
The tables are quite close together and on occasion the place can get quite busy, but it is a nice place to go that’s reasonably priced with friends or family.
